Unless you are interested in torturing yourself, I would strongly recommend against staying at Bungalows Casa Loma. My boyfriend and I made a two week reservation but only ended up staying there one night, because in that night alone, we encountered giant cockroaches, crabs, and a huge scorpion in the shower. There were huge holes in the walls of the room, the view looked out over a construction site, and the fan did not work. Not to mention, there is no ceiling on the bathroom, so unless you are interested in sharing every bodily function with your partner, I would not recommend staying there. The owners refused to refund any of our money in addition, and would not return any of our messages. They are very underhanded. There are lots of other wonderful places to stay in Zihua, some of which are in much better locat1ons and are around the same price.
